CONCEPT
- Contemporary – angular aesthetic. Use of modern materials – brickwork and render with profiled sheet roofing to maintain the designs clean lines.
- A series of mono-pitched roofs. Terracing.
- House constructed on 2 levels due to severe site slope and neighbouring residences to the rear. Single storey approach, garaging and access and internal South-facing vertical ‘atrium’ circulation.
- Narrow Lower ground Floor footprint with rear circulation to accommodate back-to-ground layout for Bedrooms.
- Zero carbon. Thermally controlled design, integral photovoltaics, air source heat pump, under-floor heating, enhanced thermal performance and airtightness.
- Orientation and topographically responsive design to take advantage of views, light and encourage privacy.
DELIVERY
Green field site. New lightweight internal framed construction. Open but secure design, effective formal landscape integration with recessed entrance.
